Oxymoron for 2nd Octobor

Mahatma Gandhi and 11.4 L (~23432 USD) is perfect oxymoron on occasion of 2nd October, his birth anniversary.
Mahatma Gandhi always believed in simplicity of life, austerity of mind, mental upliftment over materialistic things, nothing that will sound with 11.4 L INR pen from Mont Blanc. Its a limited edition gold plated pen with 241 units to be sold to commemorate the Dandi march. There is no connection between Dandi March and pen.. If it was some salt company reducing the price of salt for some duration to commemorate Dandi march it could be understood.
What if some diaper company trying to commemorate him by printing his face on diapers or worst some condom company??
